   M * T * B * S * W   is my philosophy of money ( that I’ve developed over the past 45 years) for making decisions concerning career advancement and money matters.  M T B S W has lead me to great success in many areas from sports to entrepreneurship.  I have taught this system to 100’s of ordinary people who have also obtained success.  In addition, many others, who didn’t want to learn M T B S W for themselves, choose me to do M T B S W for them.

M : Mindset is the almost overpowering urge to be in control of your life and not be an indentured servant

T :  Talk.  How you talk to yourself sets the mindset.  You must encourage yourself.  Don’t wait for outside validation.  Listen to your words as they come out of your mouth.  Are there a lot of “shoulds”, “ought to’s” in your vocabulary?

B:  BOLDNESS.  Don’t chase with the crowd.  Wait, like a Spider, for bargains to show up.  They always will.  Know who you are and OVERCOME YOUR FEAR OF SUCCESS.

S:  SWOTT analysis.  This is how you identify the risks and assess the odds.  Most of the time it’s not what you invest in, it’s when.  Timing can be everything.

W:  Willingness to walk alone.  Just because it sounds good, if you aren’t convinced you’ve identified all of the risks, walk alone!  Walk away.

      The systematic funding and maintaining of pools of liquid cash equivalent assets is a must for The Drew Way.  Cash equivalent assets (T-bills & money market funds) represent power, freedom of choice, flexibility, and staying power.

      Investment product salespeople create a maze for investors with complicated hybrid schemes, programs, and mutual funds of varying descriptions.  Investing at its best is simple.

 SCRUTINY 

     Knowing when to invest and having money safely on the sidelines are the keys to making big investment profits.  When people go to the horse race track, most feel that a wager must be placed on each race.  They have a lot of action and a commensurate number of losers.  Their losers are almost always greater than their winners.

     Successful portfolio development is different.  Under The Drew Way, commitments are made after close, thoughtful, scrutiny during which risks are exposed and are judged acceptable or unacceptable (S W O T T).  As your personal Wealth Coach, I will teach you how to scrutinize investment opportunities for risks and, if you choose to retain my services, I will perform due diligence services for you, or provide expert second opinions on situations you request.

     Simply put—there are 3 places to be with an investment portfolio, in stocks, in bonds, or on the sidelines until the risks are acceptable.  **Real estate requires a lot of capital and at this time (Spring 2008) the timing is all wrong for real estate investing.

     Successful portfolio development employing The Drew Way potentially requires a lot of patience.  Constructive patience creates luck.  Luck arrives when preparation, experimentation, and opportunity come together.  The more prepared a person is, the luckier a person is.
